If power is needed from both sides of the conductor (called an intermediary conductor), the inductor is the wire which allows that current to pass. Like a switch, it’s connected to the two ends of the inductor by a resistor. Also like a switch, the intermediate conductor connects the two ends of the inductor to the other two ends by another resistor. A diod (Latin for two-way-diode) uses two conductors on the outside and two on the inside to create a voltage across a small gap between them. This creates an off voltage which can be sent through a wire as a high level alternating current.
